I am a busy mom and wife with a full-time job who wants to prepare fresh, healthy and delicious meals for my family. When the kids are in multiple sports activities it is difficult to come home and cook everyday. Instead we end up eating out alot. My kids are picky so this becomes a hassle. When I say let me make some goat curry I hear no complaints! This is why we developed our curry seasoning. I want to help others to cook a delicious meal even if you have little time, or you have never made curry before. We take out the guesswork by having everything already added into our mix. Just add your protein.

As a full time student, a softball player, a multiple honor society member and more, life is pretty busy! Along with all of this, I'm an aspiring lawyer whose goal is to attend Columbia University. With that said, time is of the essence. This is how I came up with the idea for S.K. Seasonings, in the interest of time. Our products are convenient and make cooking quick. This gives mom no reason to call me to make green seasoning for her anymore!
Our Backstory
We are three generations, father, daughter and granddaughter,
who love to cook together, create flavorful and dynamic combinations, and bring
family & friends together for a delicious and healthy meal. My dad has been cooking
his entire life. It’s something that he loved and led to him owning and managing
numerous restaurants in Guyana as well as in New York. I grew up helping my dad
and aunt with their catering business. My grandma’s cooking brought us all together
every week and I loved helping her to prepare those meals. Seeing the way that
food brought my family together is a reason that I want to make this seasoning
happen so that others can have the same enjoyment without putting in all of the
work. My daughter has a knack for cooking and flavors. As a young girl growing up,
she was always in the kitchen with me learning to cook, testing out new flavors and
then bringing it to my dad for his review. She is constantly testing and learning and
was the one who brainstormed this idea.
